Here is something you don't see every day . A second series 1665 seadweller ...original Pisani dial in stupendous condition ...and most notably ....complete with original box and papers.


The Comex diving company in the south of France played an integral part in the development of the Rolex dive watch line up and as a mark of that relationship the company divers were issued with Rolex watches...often carrying the Comex company logo on the dial as well as unique case back engravings. Comex issued Rolex pieces are highly desirable and valuable pieces forming a key part of any collection.

Case

stainless steel 40mm oyster case with helium escape valve, and Rolex issue number to back. All engravings are clear and legible.

Dial

unique Comex dial ..note the absence of the word date and the depth rated to 600m as opposed to 610m on the standard production model ...named after a leading expert in field, the 'Pisani' dial this example is in stunning condition with a mid tone patina and matching hands

Bracelet

original gents oyster flip lock bracelet with correct 585 end links.

The watch comes with box, original (now void) warranty papers, Rolex Uk service papers and a copy of a letter from Rolex UK confirming issue number and delivery to the Comex dive company
