VERY rare patent pending Seadweller 1665 .

General

The double red seadweller is one of the most collectible and iconic vintage watches...the king of the production models is the 'patent pending' with a mark 1 dial and mark1 serial number...as this one is, (certainly not to be confused with the much more common mark 2 patent pending's).

The helium escape valve around which the seadweller is built was, for the first couple of years of production, a patent in process- hence the engraving patent pending.

This watch has been left totally original as found in the wild at the previous owners choice. It can of course be polished and cleaned should the new owner prefer it to present in a 'showroom' manner.
