Very rare Submariner 168000 ( note the extra 0)

If you like the look of the traditional sapphire glass submariner (model 16610) but want something just a little bit more interesting and collectible, hows about this ...model reference 168000 only made for 12-18 months - the extra zero denotes a change in the grade of stainless steel that Rolex used for it cases, these are very few and far between.

Complete with the original purchase receipt from 1988 and the matching punched papers dated May 1988. The watch is in excellent condition and is virtually unmarked.

Case

40mm stainless steel. virtually unmarked, all engravings are clear and readable.

Dial

The dials on some of these are prone to degradation and 'spidering' but this dial retains a perfect finish to the gloss coat. All tritium matching dials and hands.

Bracelet

Virtually new 93150 Oyster flip-lock bracelet, later addition (clasp marked CL). No stretch and stickers in place.
