The Comex diving company in the South of France played an integral part in the development of the Rolex dive watch line up and as a mark of that relationship the company divers were issued with Rolex watches...often carrying the Comex company logo on the dial as well as unique case back engravings. Comex issued Rolex pieces are highly desirable and valuable pieces forming a key part of any collection.

This model is from the transitional range of watches, incorporating the new sapphire crystal but retaining the vintage style matte dial displaying the Comex logo.

Complete with full box and papers and divers provenance this watch is a rare and seldom seen variant that will take pride of place in any collection.
