Gilt dial Tropical Explorer 1 with box & papers

Where have all the Explorers 1's gone, that is what i want to know ???

Complete with box and punched papers this Explorer 1 has a stunning gilt dial taking on the most beautiful tropical tone, it is hard to capture on an image but the black paint has turned a deep chocolate colour which is most pleasing to the eye , especially in sunlight.

Rarely seen it comes complete with it original 'bureaux swiss'' chronometer certificate with matching punched serial number

37 mm stainless steel,nicely polished. serial number clear and readable. back date stamped IV.67.

Dial

Gilt print, excellent original condition with glossy laquer coat.

Bracelet

Leather original Rolex band with Rolex buckle. though of course if you prefer a bracelet this can be arranged also.
