Peachy Paul Newman with Geneva service papers

General

The so called 'Paul Nemwan dial' is one of the most coveted of all Rolex sports models...although Rolex themselves generally refer to it as an exotic dial, this style of dial was made famous by Paul Newman when he prominently wore it on the cover of an Italian magazine.

This particular example is in excellent condition with all the original lume dots in place A particular feature of this example is the exceptionally strong case in excellent full condition.

Case

model 6262 stainless steel cosmograph with pumper pushers. all engravings are crisp and clear and nice full even lugs . The watch comes with both the steel and bakelite bezels.

Dial

Two colour 6262 exotic dial, in almost perfect condition, all lume dots in tact and free from unsightly stains, edge chips or hand pull scratches...a breed apart note : as part of the Geneva service they fitted new tritium hands..the original are however with the watch and the buyer can choose which to have fitted

Bracelet

later more secure 7835 oyster bracelet with 571 end links.
