Red Submariner Mk4 with box/papers/ Rolex service

General

A fine example of a popular classic, the dial which is of such importance to the collectability of this model is in fantastic condition and judging from the deep patina this example has surely been a safe queen for many of its 4o years.

The owner has luckily kept the watch together with its original box, papers, booklets and anchor and this piece will make a fine addition to any collection.

I guess this is what most would call unpolished with nice fat lugs and original sweeping chamfered edges...but as i haven't owned it from new i will resist making such claims and to my eyes i would say it has had one light polish in its life and retains nearly all its metal.

The mark4 dial is free from stains, edge chips of repair and is everything you could hope for with the original matching tritium hands and silver date wheel.

As the watch has obviously spent some time locked away it will be delivered after full Rolex service and therefore will include their two year international warranty...at this stage unless otherwise directed the watch will not be polished but will be left in its as found condition

Case

40mm stainless steel Oyster case. All engraving are clear and legible. case back marked internally for 1972.

Dial

Mark 4 feet first red writing dial in excellent condition with medium to deep patina.

Bracelet

Gents USA rivet bracelet marked 1971 will be delivered in full overhauled condition.

Accessories

Original inner and outer boxes, punched guarantee papers, booklet, anchor and current Service papers.
