It took me years to find this in response to a friendly challenge to find an original owner watch in the UK.

Bought new by the previous owner in 1975, it was his daily wearer until 2010...serviced twice by Rolex in that time, it was still keeping great time when i was lucky enough to find it. Luckily for me ...he kept the whole kit and caboodle he left the shop with ...even the store bag !!!
